The Latshaw family of Berks-Chester-Montgomery Counties, Pa. are all descendants of Franz Latshaw, who arrived at Philadelphia in 1728. Family seems to have originated in the French speaking area of Switzerland. Family members were Mennonites. Franz Latshaw's first wife's name is not known, but he married (2) in Pennsylvania, Mary Gabel, a widow with two small children. Franz Latshaw died ca. 1795.

Description
Eli Keller moved to Seneca County, Ohio, in 1856 and until 1874 served in 3 different charges including the towns of Bucyrus and Bellevue. He then served in the Zionsville Charge in Berks, Lehigh, and Montgomery counties, Pennsylvania. This charge consisted of Zionsville, Huff's Church, Christ Church at Niantic (also called Huber's Church), St. Peter's Church between Shimersville and Siesholtzville, and the chapel at Herefordville.
